TSS Religious School Book Fair

November 16th through the 23rd. The book fair will have a collection of all types of books from cookbooks to infant books. The company we are using is Say Fair Books. You can preview the books at www.sayfair.com. Please contact Kim Feigenbaum at 336-4700 or 317-1438 if you would like to help with the Book Fair project.

Jewish Book Fair at Temple Shir Shalom

The Religious School is having a Jewish Bookfair from November 16th through the 23rd as a fundraising event.  This will be a great opportunity to shop for Chanukah gifts.  We are also hoping individuals may wish to donate books to our Religious School or Library.  There will be one copy of each book on display during the event.  You will be able to place your order during the fair and receive the books well before Chanukah.

Sukkot Celebration Potluck & Religious School Led Services

Hope you had an easy fast.  I wish for you a Very Sweet and Healthy New Year.  I think the students have pretty much settled into the routine on Sunday morning.  The teachers are working hard to keep the students engaged.  The aides are trying to keep everyone safe.  I am trying VERY hard to learn every student’s name.  I appreciate the feedback I have received from parents and teachers.  We are reviewing what we can do better.  Please feel free to contact me with concerns, complaints and praises.  Email is best for me at Debbie@shirshalom.net

If you have not paid your $10 for snack money, please see Lisa Zumberg, ASAP.

 

This Monday, October 13th at 6.30 is a dairy pot luck dinner for the Sukkot celebration.  We will decorate and learn more about the holiday from Rabbi Joseph. 

 

Most important is Friday, October 17th at 8 p.m.,  the students will be participating in the services that evening.  The students have been learning certain prayers related to the service this Friday night.  If your student is in PreK, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade could you please bring  something to supplement the ONEG for the evening.
